Rachel has extensive experience in transport planning and engineering, working with public and private sector clients in New Zealand and internationally. She has worked across developments of all scales and a diverse range of land uses, including residential, commercial and industrial developments, schools, hospitals, retirement villages and community facilities. Her experience also includes private plan changes and major transport planning projects, where she has worked closely with clients, project teams and councils to navigate complex transport requirements and support successful project outcomes. 20251026 Rachel Gasson CV

Rachel enjoys knowing that her work can make a tangible difference to people’s everyday lives, from how they commute to how they access recreation and their communities. She particularly values the opportunity to influence and shape how our cities grow and is looking forward to continuing to develop professionally at CKL while building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

Rachel holds a Master of Engineering Studies in Transportation Engineering and a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Honours), both with First Class Honours from the University of Auckland. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking New Zealand’s trails and relaxing with friends and family.
