Jan is a Chartered Professional Engineer with almost two decades’ experience spanning the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Aotearoa New Zealand. His expertise encompasses transport planning, traffic engineering and civil engineering across major public and private sector projects.
Jan takes a holistic approach to project delivery, working across the full project lifecycle from early strategy and concept development through consenting, detailed design and delivery. He has particular experience bringing together transport, design and land development inputs to help navigate complex, multi-agency projects and achieve practical outcomes.
His experience includes Kāinga Ora’s Tāmaki Precinct Regeneration, large-scale greenfield developments, Auckland Transport’s TEPS programme and significant arterial upgrades.
Outside of work, Jan is an avid paraglider and traveller and enjoys getting stuck into DIY projects. He also volunteers as a Big Buddy mentor, supporting a young person to build confidence and resilience.
