Haultain Estate is a multi-lot residential subdivision on the western edge of Kihikihi, Te Awamutu.
It comprises in excess of 65 sections and has been developed over three stages. It incorporates a number of higher density sections and duplexes and provides much needed housing capacity to Kihikihi and the wider Te Awamutu community.
CKL has provided multi-disciplinary services to the developers. Our planners prepared subdivision and land use consent applications along with stormwater discharge and land disturbance consent applications.
CKL’s civil and environmental engineers designed the earthworks and building platforms, roading networks, three waters infrastructure and wastewater pump station. Our environmental engineers have developed a sustainable stormwater disposal system around the existing open drains, streams and springs all of which is encompassed within a stormwater reserve.
Construction of Stage 1 and 2 are now complete. CKL’s civil engineers are currently completing the contract administration and management of Stage 3 after which our surveyors will complete the Land Transfer survey and apply for Council certifications.
