CKL was proud to provide a traffic assessment support for the proposed Green Steel recycling facility at Hampton Downs, a fast-tracked project with clear regional and national significance.
Designed to help process and recycle metal in-country to manufacture Structural steel currently being imported, the development supports a more sustainable approach to resource use by reducing waste to landfill and strengthening New Zealand’s local recycling capability.
While our role focused on transportation engineering, projects like this reflect the breadth of work CKL supports, contributing to developments that align with broader environmental progress and long-term sustainability goals.
