Contact Energy Ltd’s Glenbrook battery project is helping power a more resilient, lower-emissions future for New Zealand, and CKL was proud to help support it.
CKL provided the Transportation Assessment Report and Construction Traffic Management Plan to support the consenting and delivery of Contact’s Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at Glenbrook.
Designed to store and release electricity during peak demand, the Glenbrook battery will help strengthen national grid resilience, support renewable energy integration and reduce reliance on higher-emission energy sources.
