An exciting milestone for Waikato’s future health workforce was marked recently with a sod-turning ceremony held on site for The University of Waikato’s new medical school .
CKL is proud to be part of the project team supporting the delivery of this transformational facility, working alongside the project team and a wider group of leading consultants.
Set at the heart of the Hamilton campus, the new four-storey teaching and learning building will play a key role in shaping how medicine is taught in Aotearoa, with a strong focus on practical, hands-on learning and flexibility for the future.
It’s a project that will create local jobs, support regional growth, and ultimately help strengthen health outcomes for communities across New Zealand. We’re looking forward to seeing construction progress over the coming years.
