We’re excited to welcome Andrew Carline to CKL as our Environmental Manager.
Andrew brings more than 35 years’ experience in the consulting engineering industry, including over 20 years in civil engineering, with a career spanning land development, transportation, public realm and major infrastructure projects across New Zealand.
His project experience is incredibly broad - from large-scale greenfield and brownfield developments such as Northcote and Oranga Neighbourhoods (LEAD Alliance), Drury South development, and major transport projects including Auckland Light Rail, Tauranga Eastern Link, Mt Messenger Bypass and the SH16 Lincoln Road Interchange. Andrew’s career has also touched everything from offshore oil and gas platforms and geothermal power projects to cycleways, hospitals, universities and schools.
Andrew was drawn to CKL for its people, culture and scale — “not too big, not too small” — and is looking forward to getting stuck into the role, contributing to CKL’s continued growth, and spending time out on project sites around the country.
Outside of work, Andrew is a passionate motorsport fan (especially F1), with a past life running a popular NZ motorsport website - and you might even hear him pop up on Sport Nation Breakfast from time to time. More recently, he’s taken up golf and is determined to master the art of getting the ball somewhere near where it’s meant to go .
